Thandi was very good over the journey, door to door it took 40 odd hours (thanks to a cancelled flight from frankfurt). They put us up a hotel, and Thandi returned the favour of a cancelled flight by destroying their white tablecloth at supper time.

Not much to say about the trip, best not to dwell on it. Now we are in Hamilton (named after captain john hamilton - a scotsman killed at tuarunga during the New Zealand land wars). the Maori name is kirikiriroa (long stretch of gravel). Waikato (the region in which hamilton lies) is dairy capital of NZ - here is a dairy farm at the end our street. We live in the west of the city.

Long, long journey - glad you are safe and sound and look forward to lots more photos. Your house look very light and spacious. Thandi looks as sweet as ever - you and Agnes look tired!
