Alec sent me this, and I couldnt resist putting it in even though its not strictly up to date. I like to remember that even though my lip was split following the brutal attack from a group of moules lane gangsters (delinquent behaviour by youths is a rising problem in Hadstock), and the fact that I thought I had lost the lady of my dreams, i was still able to put on a brave and dare I say it cheery face. those who were there will remember how i laughed and joked with them, despite the bleeding it caused my lip with every smile. and wasnt the ice skating fun? ah London in the wintertime...

Funny how memory plays tricks - I remember it differently. Two uncaring doctors who were more interested in arguing the merits of stitch or no stitch leaving it to your boet to take action when blood was spewing over the living room. The distinctly poor spirits you were in on your birthday and the particularly good expresso in the natural history museum...but did I miss you ice skating?
