new pictures

finally got round to putting some pictures up from the last trip up the Taieri. There are only a few of them - I've tried to make it easier for you to locate them by using only blue markers. Also I have tried to enable other users to look at the pics enlarged by clicking on them, so give it a go - not entirely sure it will work though.

Its been a thoroughly miserable day here - about 10 degrees with rain of the extremely wet variety and wind of the extremely windy variety. a couple of days ago it was 32 and i got a bit sunburned of the red variety.

Got the keys to our new place and should be moving in properly tomorrow. The place looks very good.

The other day when I was baking banana muffins I realised that the egg i wanted to use, had already been eaten (they have a babit of being eaten, eggs do) so had to make a quick cycle to the shop to get some more. Not even the extreme cramp could remove the smile from my face as I overtook a lycra clad, carbon fibre racing bike, aerodynamic helmeted cyclist - with my jeans tucked into my socks and the eggs nearly falling out the back of my open rucksack. I hope he went directly and cycled another 20k at 90 revolutions per minute. Uphill.

He obviously didnt have muffins to bake.

I should put that recipe up by the way - its a good one. will do it sometime. Agnes and I adapted one we found on the net. we put in yoghurt and a small amount of honey.
