Dr Im in trouble

Well goodness Gracious ME...

Not many people will get that. but im not going to explain.

2 days ago Agnes successfully defended her thesis and is officially an expert in soft bottoms. Er, Baltic soft bottoms. you know what I mean. And not only defended her thesis, but I believe did so in grand style!! (To be remembered as one of the best defences of the department - dont be modest Agnes). And this from a woman who I have noticed putting a white puma running shoe on her left foot, and a black clog on the right foot without noticing the difference...

Imagine that, me going out with a DR! and a real dr too, not one of those medical types. Did I write that out loud?...hehe. Its astounding to think that for 27 years Agnes had achieved moderate success in life, but within just 1.5 years of meeting me she is already a Dr. Ah, stats, they are a wonderful things - Disraeli didnt know what he was talking about (lies, damn lies and statistics). I believe I will soon have at my disposal one of the best qualified assistants around, even though I dont specialise in soft bottoms myself, I can only see this as an advantage.
With her natural scientific ability and my.. um, well my.... my ermmmm. With her natural scientific ability and because im also a scientist I feel success with my own PhD is just a formality now.

Whilst toasting her success spare a thought for me. Agnes' opponent in her defence is one of the world leaders in her field with scores of years experience. I imagine he has turned potential defenders into jelly knees. And he came out singing her praises. How in hells name am I ever supposed to win an argument with this woman? Im not even an expert in soft bottoms...

PS from now on could you address any mail to Dr and Mr Agnes Karlson...

When you need to win the argument the answer is in the song...
"When your heart goes boom-didi-boom-didi-boom-didi-BOOM
Touch the Doctor's fingers...
Aaaah...."

(Well, I confess - I have just slightly altered the words there - sorry Peter Sellars - in a good cause!)
